Why choose our FUE method, what are its advantages?

There are many advantages of our FUE hair transplant method, either for being the safest surgical technique as it leaves no residual scar in the extraction area, or for its other advantages such as being a minimally invasive procedure with immediate recovery after surgery.

Is the transplanted hair permanent, and is there a risk of rejection?

The transplanted hair is definitive, with no risk of rejection, since the implanted follicles are from the same person.

Does the FUE technique leave scars?

Our FUE hair transplant method does not leave any scars, since the procedure is performed using surgical instruments specially designed to make a minimally invasive incision around the hairs, allowing them to be extracted.

How many sessions will the patient need?

The number of sessions depends on the type and degree of alopecia in each particular case, sometimes a second or third session will be considered in the case of large alopecia.

What is the cost of hair grafting?

The cost of hair transplantation varies depending on the patient's needs and therapeutic objectives. Basically, it depends on the degree of alopecia and the amount of follicular units needed to obtain optimal results. However, other conditions must be considered, such as the clinical conditions of the donor area, the number of sessions, and if other additional treatments to the graft are necessary.

For that reason and to know the exact cost of the intervention, we recommend a consultation in our clinic where our medical team can evaluate and consider the most appropriate therapeutic solutions.

What kind of care should the patient take after surgery?

After surgery, the patient should take care of the transplanted area and avoid all possible damage, especially in the first weeks, such as prolonged sun exposure, traumatic manipulation of the grafted area or intense physical exercise. In addition, the helmet, comb, brush and hairdryer should be used carefully. After a period of approximately one month after the intervention, the patient can resume his normal hair care routine. However, the patient will be assisted for all the care to be taken after the surgery to ensure the best results.

How long does the surgery last?

The duration of the intervention and stay in the clinic depends on the case to be treated, a long session can last all day, we always try to do it in a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere, while patients are able to take the necessary breaks and rests.

How long does it take to see results?

The first results could be visualized after the first 5 or 6 months. It usually takes about a year to see the final result, and in most cases, continuous hair growth is observed between 12 and 18 months after surgery.

What tests or analyses are needed before surgery?

A standard preparatory study is usually requested, including blood tests, electrocardiograms and chest X-rays. However, the physician may order other complementary tests if necessary.

At what age is hair transplantation recommended?

There is no specific age for hair transplant surgery, this depends on the case of each patient, in general it is not recommended to perform the intervention at a very early age, always considering the natural development of alopecia.
